Q) Does your service include the camera?
A) Our service does not include the camera. Your cameras can be purchased through UGuardU. Contact us and our sales associate would gladly assist you in the selection of the camera to fit your needs.Q) What does the $230 price listed on the UGuardU website include?
A) The $230 price includes an Axis M1011-W camera and 3 months of our Live View service.Q) What type of cameras work with UGuardU?
A) Axis, JVC, and Sony cameras work with UGuardU.Q) How much do the cameras cost and what are the specifications?
A) UGuardU offers a wide range of cameras ranging in price from $200 to $5,000 with various capabilities and specifications. Please check out the Axis product, pricing and specification data sheet in the Learn More section of the website or by clicking here to download the PDF file.Q) What are the specifications for the UGuardU Video Recording Solutions (UGU VRS)

Q) What type of warranty do the cameras come with?
A) We offer the manufacture's one year warranty on all cameras purchased through UGuardU. If there is a problem with a camera, we will work with the manufacture to get a replacement.Q) Will my camera be HD (high definition) quality?
A) We do have HD quality cameras available, but not all cameras provide this level of picture quality. Please let us know if your needs require HD quality.Q) Will my camera work outdoors and be able to resist damage from the elements?
A) We offer cameras that are rated for outdoor use, but not all of the cameras are suitable for this application. Please check our Data Sheets section of the website to see the full line of Axis cameras and their specifications. Please contact a UGuardU sales associate for further assistance.Q) Will my camera work at night or in darkness?
A) Many of the cameras we offer will work well in low light areas, but will not work in pitch black conditions without adding infrared illuminators. Certain cameras will perform better than others so let us know if your application requires low or no light.Q) Should I use infrared illuminators in my baby's nursery?
A) Most sources say that using infrared illuminators can be potentially harmful to babies’ sensitive eyes. There does not seem to be enough data regarding this to provide a recommendation. However, we suggest you contact your pediatrician.Q) How often will I be billed for service?
A) We will bill you either quarterly or annually for service based upon your preference. We offer one month of free service for those customers who sign up for our annual agreement.Q) How do your camera prices compare to online resellers?
A) We charge the minimum advertised price that a manufacturer allows for us to maintain our dealership agreements as a reseller. Online resellers that charge less for identical models of cameras are most likely not authorized resellers and might not provide the manufacture's warranty.Q) Will my camera be wireless?
A) Several of the cameras we offer have wireless network capabilities. If it will be too difficult to run a CAT5e cable from the camera to your internet router, then this may be a good option for you. The camera will still need to be connected to a power outlet.Q) Will I be able to view my cameras using a Wii, Playstation, or Xbox with internet access?
A) Currently these products do not support the video feeds from the cameras.Q) Will I be able to view the camera from my smartphone or internet capable handheld device?
A) Most smartphones or internet capable handheld devices will be able to view video from the cameras. iPhones, iPod Touch, and iPads offer the best performance. If your particular product is having difficulty please let us know so we may assist you.Q) Can I zoom, pan, or tilt the camera’s view from my iPhone or other device?
A) Yes, if you have a camera that supports these features specifically.Q) What camera brands do you offer?
A) We offer Axis, Sony, and Panasonic currently.Q) What is the resolution that the cameras record at?
A) The resolution varies depending on the camera, but typically is VGA or 640x480.Q) How many frames per second are being recorded?
A) We are recording at 1 frame per second.
